About the role
We're hiring a Backend Engineer to join a distributed team building scalable APIs and data pipelines for enterprise clients. You'll own services end-to-end — from database design to deployment.
You'll collaborate closely with frontend engineers and solution architects to deliver reliable, well-documented services that power client-facing products.
Requirements
- →2+ years of experience building REST APIs with Node.js or Python
- →Solid understanding of relational databases — schema design, indexing, query optimization
- →Experience with PostgreSQL or another RDBMS in production
- →Familiarity with containerisation (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines
- →Ability to write clear technical documentation
Nice to have
- →Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
- →Knowledge of AWS or GCP cloud services
- →Prior work on multi-tenant SaaS products
- →Exposure to GraphQL API design
